Host a Psycho-ed Workshop

II. Dominion Psychological Health Workshop:

There are many in our society and churches who are battling mental illness, emotional distress and burnout. DF is here to offer Psychological Health Workshops for you and your organization to help guide, bring motivation, and offer various coping strategies to decrease maladaptive behaviors or negative interactions in certain situations and settings. These workshops will help leaders and individuals to identify the problem(s) and negative behavior (s), while providing education about replacement behaviors, reduce the negative behavior, and provide positive reinforcement to encourage the new behavior and to discourage the inappropriate action. DF not only want to get to the root cause of the issue or provide information, but also be a safehaven of hope, support, and healing.

II. Dominion Parental Support for Children Incarcerated:

This program offers parental support for children who are incarcerated. This includes:

  1. Monthly Peer Support Groups for parents

  2. Monthly Letters to teens or young adults

  3. Quarterly Visitations  

III. Dominion Jail Ministry:

This program is designed to bring kingdom to the community by way of holistic kingdom principles. To participate in the program, inmates will participate in monthly psychoeducational sessions to find ways to reduce recidivism, practice coping strategies and reduce maladaptive occurrences, and be introduced to communal sources for their holistic development.

  1. Holistic Vision Classes (6 Dimensional Concept: Spiritual, Psychological, Emotional, Occupational, Physical, and Education) Classes meet monthly.

  2. Dominion Angel Tree Services is designed for inmates at the local jail who have participated in the DF program for at least a 6 months and want to provide gifts for their children during the Christmas holiday. The inmates will fill out the DF Angel Tree Form and 2 gifts of choice less than $50. Gifts will be distributed by Dec 15th. Deadline for forms will be November 15th.
